The cast saw new additions with Michael Gambon coming on to replace Richard Harris, who played Albus Dumbledore until his death Emma Thompson also joined the cast as Professor Sybill Trelawney. The third film in the series, directed by Alfonso Cuaron, opened Jand grossed $250 million at the box office.
